Crafted by hand in Nairobi, these earrings are the work of Omondi Jewellery, a workshop run by Ishmael Omondi. Using recycled brass, Ishmael cuts and shapes each piece with handheld tools, finishing them with hammered textures and polish.
Ishmael was once homeless and is now a skilled artisan and supporting others through his workshop in Kibera, one of Nairobi’s most under-resourced communities.
Siesta is a UK-based Fair Trade brand offering a vibrant collection of handcrafted gifts, clothing, incense, and accessories from around the world. Founded in 1983, Siesta works directly with artisans across the globe, ensuring ethical sourcing and fair pay.
